What was meant to be a quick flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore turned into a bit of a wait, as we circled for over 30 minutes due to traffic in Singapore.
After using the app to handle my arrivals info, I was out of the airport in just 15 minutes and then a fast 25-minute Grab ride to the InterContinental Robertson Quay.
Booking the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay
I reserved the accommodation using 43,000 IHG One Reward points per night, and with my Ambassador membership, I received a $25 beverage credit and used my 50 night lounge pass.
InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay arrival
Upon arriving at the hotel, you'll notice that the entrance consists of a small ground floor lobby. To access the main lobby and check-in desks, you need to take the elevator up one floor.

InterContinental Robertson Quay Lobby & Check-in
Upon exiting the elevator on the 1st floor for the check-in counter, you'll see a sign for the Quayside Lounge. This is because the lobby is a delightful space to sit, relax, and enjoy a drink.

InterContinental Robertson Quay Room
Initially, when I entered the room, I thought it seemed narrow. However, once inside and after observing the surroundings, I found the layout quite pleasant, especially with the open-style bathroom featuring plenty of glass and mirrors.

What I loved most about this room was the awesome leather chair with a footstool right by the floor-to-ceiling window. Kicking back there with a coffee or a good book was such a chill way to relax and unwind.

The room features an open concept design, with a sliding room dividers that can be used to separate the bathroom area from the bedroom for privacy.

InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay Room Amenities

The room came with a Nespresso machine, kettle with a selection of coffee's and tea.
InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay Bathroom

The InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay doesn’t have bottled water, but they do have a filter tap. I thought that was pretty cool and a great way to be environmentally friendly.

Club InterContinental Robertson Quay

Club InterContinental is on the 1st floor, the same at the check-in counters and The Quayside Lounge.
InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay Pool

The swimming pool is located just off the main lobby. It is primarily a lap pool and measures about 25 meters in length.
I never observed the pool to be that crowded, which is beneficial since they don't have many lounge chairs.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the Publico Italian restaurant which is located on the ground floor. which you get to by going out of the hotel and walking past UMMI which is a Lebanese style restaurant.

Location
The InterContinental Robertson Quay Singapore is perfectly situated just a few minutes' walk from Riverwalk, featuring running and biking paths that lead almost to Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay.
Orchard Road is approximately a 6-minute drive in the opposite direction or a 2 km walk away. I needed to go to the Apple store, I just ordered a Grab car to take me.

Final Thoughts
I had a wonderful time at the Intercontinental Robertson Quay Singapore and would love to return on my next visit to Singapore. I hope to stay for several nights to fully enjoy this hotel, which truly impressed me.
The location is excellent, offering easy access to one of the main shopping districts, Orchard Road, and allowing for a pleasant walk along the river to Marina Bay.
The following review reflects my personal thoughts on my stay at the InterContinental, Robertson Quay. The views and opinions shared in this blog post are entirely my own.
