I arrived in Doha from Toronto earlier in the day (around 4 PM) and had booked the Doha Discover Tour from Qatar airlines.

The golden falcon outside the departures area at Doha International Airport stands 12 meters tall and looks like it's keeping an eye on everyone coming into the airport.
:
After the Discover Doha tour, they dropped me off at the departures level of Doha International Airport.
If you've got at least a six-hour layover in Doha, I totally recommend checking out this tour. It not only gives you something to do but also offers a great intro to Qatar and Doha.
The Lounge
After checking out Doha, I headed to the lounge. That flight from Toronto and the tour had me ready to chill before catching my next flight.
The Qatar Airways business class lounge is seriously top-notch, maybe even the best out there! You've got a separate restaurant area with tons of awesome menu choices, plus a salad bar and dessert section to wrap up your meal perfectly.

The restaurant area in the Qatar Airways business class lounge is roomy, and the staff is all set to take your food and drink orders.

Even after the awesome food on the flight from Toronto, there's no way I could pass up a sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and veggies.

As someone with a sweet tooth, it was impossible for me not to sample all the amazing desserts in the lounge.

Ending my meal with dessert after dessert—what a perfect finish!
Flight number two on my way from Toronto YYZ to Bangkok BKK
I booked a business class seat on flight QR834 from Doha to Bangkok, flying on an 11-year-old Airbus A380-800 with the registration # A7-APC. It was supposed to take off at 2:05 A.M. and land around 12:55 P.M., but it actually left at 2:19 A.M. and arrived at 12:30 P.M., making the flight time 6 hours and 11 minutes. Unfortunately, the pilot overshot the stopping area at the gate, so we had to wait for a tug to push us back to the right spot, which took about 15 minutes.
Boarding and Seat Selection

Boarding happened right on time, and once again, I was super happy with my seat, 10A. When boarding the plane on the upper deck just turn right, 10A is the first seat on the right.

Settling In
After boarding, a flight attendant came by and handed out pajamas.

Takeoff and in-flight service

I love this view on the app because it's awesome to see where you are while taxiing out for take-off.

A clear night and the view over Doha was amazing.

As soon as the seatbelt sign was turned off, I went back to the lounge to check it out.

Dining

Too bad I missed out on the late-night dining options—they all looked awesome! I really wanted to try some, but like most people on this flight, I crashed right after takeoff.

I checked out the breakfast menu and had the yogurt with cherry, toasted pumpkin seeds, and granola. It was amazing!

For breakfast, I went with the sweet potato and kale omelette, and it came with grilled chicken sausage, roasted mushrooms, and asparagus. It was absolutely amazing!
Arrival and Final Impression's
The flight was awesome, and the crew was fantastic. Like I said before, since it was such an early morning flight, I fell asleep right after take-off, just like most of the other people in business class.
We parked at the infield terminal, which I think isn't the best since you have to wait a bit for the train to get you to the main terminal. Even after using fast-track through immigration, we still ended up waiting around 15 minutes for our luggage, even with priority tags. It's not the airline's fault, but it does take away from the whole flight experience.
